Simon O'Sullivan joined Terranovis in November 2014 after 20 years working as a town planner in various roles in local and state government and planning consultancy.
For the previous ten years, Simon was employed by the City of Gosnells where he had responsibilities as a senior manager of the City's development control, land administration and strategic land use planning functions.
Simon has extensive experience in the planning and development of master-planned residential estates, having been responsible for both the preparation and assessment of proposals for the rezoning, structure planning and subdivision of land in new urban areas, as well sites identified for redevelopment and renewal in established communities.
Much of this work has involved working with land held by multiple owners, often with challenging environmental and servicing constraints, where he has established frameworks that have effectively facilitated and guided subdivision and development.
Simon has particular expertise in the establishment and administration of development contribution arrangements for the provision of new infrastructure, which often has him sought after by a range of industry stakeholders for advice on best practice approaches.
He also has considerable experience in land use planning strategy and policy formulation, community engagement and business improvement initiatives.
Simon's background has him well-qualified to manage various projects at Terranovis, where his current responsibilities include management of the development of Riverbank Estate, Southern River and Paramount Apartments, Beeliar.
